Today is more or less just another test to see if I can do this whole blog thing correctly; specifically, I'd like to see whether I can properly post a picture or not, so I can share photos of all my travels with friends and family while I'm across the Pacific.
So if I've done this right, somewhere in this post there should be a picture; specifically, the photo I took of the sign my grandfather (better known to my brothers and I as Pop-Pop) hung up in the shower one morning after a night of fierce thunder and rain storms.
You're a real riot, Pop-Pop.
