Not much in the way of excitement going on at the moment....

My apologies for lack of updates as of late! But if the corn yogurt blog entry is any indicator, I haven't really been up to anything exciting for the past few days, unless any of you feel that a ten-page paper on the Hui ethnic group and the pork taboo is fascinating. Anyone? Anyone? Hmm? No?

Well, that makes two of us, then.

Uh.....let's see....well, I'm correcting a paper for Emillio, an Italian Jesuit who's staying here for the semester. Isn't that interesting? Hmm? Anyone?

Er.....I....uh.....I did my laundry a few days ago, and....uh...

Ugh, you know what? Things are probably more interesting where you are at the moment.

Hi!
We've been following your blogs and travels all semester but haven't commented because of web illiteracy...my own. What a fascinating time you've had! We all miss you but are so happy you have taken so many opportunities to breathe, see, taste and connect with China. Your pictures bring it all to life. The weather is getting cooler and leaves are all off the trees...presents are being bought and lights are beginning to twinkle. Just a few weeks left until we see you again. Enjoy your days. Lots of happy hugs and smiles await you on your return. Patrick (who's calling himself Pat these days) and Matt (who is climbing all over me right now) say "Hello!" Lots of love!
